Tickets & Specials

  • Due To COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you purchase your tickets on our website before visiting us.
  • For Normal Priced Tickets: You will receive 1 Ticket per person.
  • For Specials: You will receive 1 Ticket per special. This is because specials are one-time use for 2 or 4 people and cannot be split to use at separate times.
  • Make sure to purchase the correct ticket for the day you would like to go tubing. Please see our Rates & Hours page for more info.
  • After purchase, you will receive a confirmation email. The email will contain your tickets in Mobile & Printable versions for you to use or send as a gift.
  • The Mobile Ticket screen is swipeable if you purchased more than 1 Ticket.
  • All Tickets & Specials have a 2-hour time limit.
  • Tickets & Specials are valid for the season that they are purchased in. Typically a season is December - March.

When Will You Be Open?

We cannot predict our season opening date. We need several days of below-freezing temperatures (preferably 28 degrees or colder) to make snow and have it stick to the hill. Once we start making snow, we will update the Website and Facebook pages.

How Will I Know If You Are Open For The Day?

If there is bad weather, either too warm or too snowy and we feel we need to close the course for safety, we will announce it on the Home Page of the Website & Facebook You are also encouraged to call ahead if you are unsure of conditions.

How Long Will I Wait In Line?

It is typically 10 - 12 minutes between runs. This includes the ride down the hill, the ride back up on our lift, and the walk back to the top of the hill. There are certain days during the season that are busier than others. With our Reservation system now implemented, you should be able to get up to 10 runs in during your time with us. The majority of people don't last 10 runs before needing a break.

Are The Lanes Fast Today?

  • When it is below freezing and the snow is packed down, the lanes get fast!
  • As the saying goes... "Natural Snow Makes It Slow". Our man-made snow is like a ball of ice, natural snow is a flake. The flakes actually act like velcro on the tubes and you will get stuck on the hill.
  • If it gets to 45 degrees in the middle of the day with the sun out, the lanes will slow down quite a bit and you may get stuck.
  • We can see conditions change hour by hour based on temperature and sun.
  • It is best to check the Home Page for up to the hour conditions.

What About Food & Drinks?

Our Outdoor Miner's Pub is open in our Grand Pavilion. There is an additional snack bar located in the Tubing Shop Lobby for grab & go items.

Where Are The Restrooms?

Restrooms are located in the Clubhouse and our Grand Pavilion. We ask that if possible to please change into your winter gear at your vehicle. We have to limit the number of people using the restrooms.

My Child Is Small. Can They Go Tubing?

Children must be at least 40” tall to ride the large hill. There is a separate kids hill available that has 4 lanes. This is perfect for younger children who want to ease into the experience. We recommend that kids are at least age 4 to go tubing. We do not allow children to ride with adults. Adults are not allowed to ride on the kids hill.

Do I Have To Walk Back Up The Hill?

We have two tow lifts that will pull you and your tube up to the top of the hill.

What Is Appropriate Attire?

You are encouraged to wear good, outdoor clothing. Warm boots, a warm coat, hat, and gloves are suggested. Snow pants are highly recommended.

Where Should I Park?

Free parking is available right next to the tubing hill and clubhouse.

Can I Bring My Own Sled Or Tube?

Only tubes provided by Iron Valley Tubing are allowed on the slope.
